About Me - The Personal Stuff

  

In addition to having been a nurse and nurse educator, I am also David's wife, mother of Dan - our Social Worker,  Mike - our talented musician and composer and Jeff, our talented writer and poet. We are also the proud grandparents of the worlds greatest grandchildren - Sunset and Zarin. 

 

I grew up in NYC and earned a BA with a major in Physiology from Hunter  College. We raised our family in Connecticut and I earned my BSN and MSN at The University of Connecticut.  Now we call  the North Shore area of Boston home.

I spent most summers at the ocean as a child, and now York Beach, Maine is our home away from home.The picture is our favorite view from the beach, the Cape Neddick Lighthouse, known to the locals as Nubble Light. Yes, you do see snow.

 

Boston's a great town too.

 

I do a lot of shopping for my collectibles, books, software, etc. on eBay, a huge on-line auction site. Be prepared to become addicted!

 

How many of you remember The Cherry Ames series? It was the start of my interest in nursing. These books frequently come up for auction on eBay and I own quite a few now. Wish I had kept all the ones from childhood!
